Capital Gate, completed in 2009 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is a 160-meter-tall, 35-story skyscraper designed by RMJM in the deconstructivist style. Nicknamed the Leaning Tower of Abu Dhabi, the building is deliberately inclined 18° to the west—more than three times the lean of Italy's famous Pisa tower—making it a striking architectural landmark. The structure contains over 16,000 square meters of office space and serves as the focal point of Capital Centre, developed by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company.
