The Caramuru Viaduct, a neoclassical structure spanning 34 metres in the Cidade Alta neighborhood of Vitória, Brazil, was inaugurated in 1925 and enlarged five years later in 1930. Its two-span design exemplifies the neoclassical architectural vocabulary that characterizes much of the city's historic center. Designated a heritage site by the Municipal Prefecture of Vitória, the viaduct represents a significant element of early twentieth-century urban infrastructure in Espírito Santo.
