Constructed in 1939 as a Works Progress Administration project, the Carrizozo Woman's Club stands at 908 Eleventh Street in Carrizozo, New Mexico, as a Pueblo Revival structure operated under the New Mexico Federation of Women's Clubs. The L-shaped adobe building measures approximately 70 feet along its front and 40 feet along its side, and features a distinctive 30-foot Round Room. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003, the clubhouse had suffered significant structural damage, including a severe crack in one of its adobe walls, prompting its identification in 2002 as one of New Mexico's Ten Most Endangered Properties. Its preservation sparked broader efforts by the state's historic preservation division to document and evaluate similar woman's clubhouses throughout the region.
