The Casey County Courthouse stands on Courthouse Square in Liberty, Kentucky, a Richardsonian Romanesque structure completed in 1888 by the Louisville-based McDonald Brothers architectural firm. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, the building represents a robust example of late nineteenth-century civic architecture characteristic of the romanesque revival style popular for courthouses during that era.
