The Cathedral of Évora, a Roman Catholic church in Portugal's historic city of Évora, stands on the city's highest point as one of its oldest and most significant monuments. Built beginning in 1184 from granite, the cathedral displays a layered architectural heritage spanning Romanesque, Gothic, Manueline, and Baroque styles, reflecting centuries of construction and renovation. Serving as the seat of the Archdiocese of Évora and part of the city's protected historical centre, it was designated a National Monument of Portugal and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988.
