The Chaharbagh Madrasa, also known as Madrese-ye Madar-e Shah, is a theological and clerical school constructed in Isfahan, Iran, during the late Safavid era under Shah Soltan Hoseyn's reign. Built in 1714, this 16-meter-high cultural complex exemplifies Safavid architectural principles through its sophisticated use of materials including tile, plaster, marble, brick, and stone. The madrasa functioned as both a mosque and educational institution, serving the religious and scholarly needs of the community. Designated an Iranian National Heritage site, the building represents the architectural ambitions of the declining Safavid dynasty, preserving characteristic decorative techniques and structural design from seventeenth- and eighteenth-century Isfahan.
