Chahar Bagh Boulevard, a historic avenue in Isfahan, Iran, was constructed during the Safavid era and remains the most famous street in Iran. Stretching approximately 6 kilometers, this thoroughfare—whose name translates to "Four Gardens"—connects the city's northern and southern sections and exemplifies Safavid architecture. The tree-lined avenue has drawn comparisons to Paris's Champs-Élysées, and its eastern side is flanked by notable Safavid gardens, including the Hasht Behesht and Chehel Sotoun. Recognized as an Iranian National Heritage site, Chaharbagh represents a significant cultural and architectural achievement of Iran's pre-modern urban planning.
