The Château de La Chapelle-Faucher, located in Dordogne in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France, is a castle with origins in the 13th century that underwent successive modifications during the 15th, 17th, and 18th centuries. The structure was severely damaged when struck by lightning in 1916, an event that destroyed its roofs—which were never subsequently rebuilt. Today the castle is registered as a protected historical monument in France.
