Château Palmer is a wine estate in Margaux-Cantenac, Gironde, classified as a Troisième Grand Cru in the 1855 Bordeaux Wine Official Classification and widely regarded as one of the two most prominent Third Growths in the Margaux appellation. Since 1998, the estate has produced a second label, Alter Ego de Palmer, vinified separately from the same terroirs to create an earlier-drinking wine.
