Château Margaux is a prestigious Bordeaux wine estate located in Margaux-Cantenac, in the Médoc region of southwestern France on the left bank of the Garonne estuary. Designed by architect Louis Combes in the Palladian style, the château stands as a classified historical monument. The estate achieved Premier cru (first growth) status in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, one of only five wines to receive this distinction. Today, its grand vin commands prices exceeding $1,000 per bottle, making it among the world's most expensive wines. Beyond its celebrated red wine, the estate produces multiple offerings including Pavillon Rouge, Margaux de Château Margaux, and several white wines under the Pavillon Blanc label.
