The Chinook Pass Entrance Arch marks the east entrance to Mount Rainier National Park in Pierce County, Washington. Designed in 1933 by the National Park Service Branch of Plans and Design and constructed in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps, this rectangular log arch exemplifies the National Park Service rustic style. It comprises two stone abutments supporting horizontal logs spanning the road and functions as a footbridge carrying a horse trail that is now part of the Pacific Crest Trail. The arch was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991 and remains a contributing property within the Mount Rainier National Historic Landmark District, which recognizes the park's significant collection of Park Service rustic architecture.
