Christ Episcopal Church in Benson, Minnesota, is a Carpenter Gothic structure built in 1879 as part of the Episcopal Church's westward expansion under Bishop Henry Benjamin Whipple. Benson's oldest church, it exemplifies the style through board and batten walls, a side-entry bell tower, and lancet windows and door. The building reflects the community's English and New England heritage and served as a symbol of religious life for over eight decades. In 1966, when the congregation sold the property for apartment development, the 87-year-old structure was relocated south across the road and rotated 180° to preserve its street-facing façade, escaping demolition. It was subsequently repurposed as a senior center and now houses the Swift County Drop-In Center. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985 for its architectural and religious significance.
