Located in Madrid's Chamberí district, the Church of San Fermín de los Navarros is a neo-Mudéjar structure built to replace an earlier church of the same name that was demolished for the construction of the Bank of Spain. Designed in 1886 by architects Eugenio Jiménez Corera and Carlos Velasco Peinado and completed in 1890, the brick-built church blends neo-Mudéjar and Gothic Revival styles, with Mudéjar characteristics dominating the exterior while Gothic elements prevail in the interior. The church was inaugurated on 6 July 1890 and is dedicated to Saint Fermín, patron of Navarre. It holds the designation of bien de interés cultural (cultural heritage site) in Spain.
