St Michael and All Angels stands on Bounds Green Road in Wood Green, within the London Borough of Haringey. Originally designed by George Gilbert Scott and William Bonython Moffatt, the Church of England parish church was consecrated as a chapel of ease in 1844. Following subsidence problems that necessitated temporary closure in the 1850s, the building underwent substantial alteration and enlargement between 1865 and 1874. Henry Curzon designed the nave during the first phase of these works; a chancel was added in 1871, followed by a tower and spire in 1874. The building is Grade II listed.
