St Michael and All Angels' Church in Welshampton, Shropshire, is a Grade II listed Anglican church built in 1863 by the distinguished architect George Gilbert Scott in the English Gothic style. Commissioned by Frances Mainwaring and Salusbury Kynaston Mainwaring as a memorial to Charles Kynaston Mainwaring of Oteley, the church replaced an earlier structure from 1788, which in turn had superseded a medieval predecessor on the site. Scott's design represents the architectural tastes of the High Victorian era and stands as a notable example of his prolific ecclesiastical work.
