Located in Montreal's Mile End neighborhood, the Church of St. Michael and St. Anthony is a Roman Catholic parish church built in 1915 by architect Aristide Beaugrand-Champagne. Originally serving the Irish Catholic community as the Church of St. Michael, it exemplifies Byzantine Revival architecture with a distinctive dome and minaret-styled tower—features that have made it one of Montreal's more unique ecclesiastical designs. The church's name expanded in 1964 when a Polish mission was established there, reflecting the neighborhood's demographic shifts. Today, it reflects the area's multicultural character, serving primarily Polish and Italian congregants while maintaining its striking Byzantine-styled architecture.
