Demolished or destroyed.
An Eastern Orthodox church in Włocławek, Poland, built in Byzantine Revival style between 1902 and 1906, the Church of St. Nicholas served the city's Orthodox community until August 1914, when Russian forces withdrew during the First World War. Subsequently occupied by the German army for administrative purposes, the brick structure fell into disrepair and was abandoned after 1918. A 1920 proposal to convert it into a garrison church proved unfeasible due to the building's deteriorated condition. In 1925, the church was demolished as a symbol of Russian Russification policies.
