A brick Mission Revival church built in 1924, the Church of the Assumption stands at 204 SW 8th Street in Topeka, Kansas, alongside its companion Assumption Rectory, completed five years later in 1929 as a Renaissance Revival structure. Both buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, with the church having been added to the register in 2008, and together they represent an important chapter in early twentieth-century ecclesiastical architecture in the region.
