The Church of the Holy Apostles, also known as Arak'elots, stands among the ecclesiastical ruins of Ani in modern-day Turkey, near the Armenian border. Built around 1100 from tufa stone, this Armenian architectural monument comprises two distinct sections: the church proper, now substantially ruined, and a columned gavit (entrance hall) that survives in relatively good condition. The gavit's design reveals clear influences from Seljuk architecture, reflecting the cultural exchanges of medieval Anatolia.
