Built in 1946 in Victoria, British Columbia, the Cineplex Odeon Victoria is a cinema designed by architect Henry Holdsby Simmonds in the Streamline Moderne style. The theater exemplifies the aerodynamic aesthetic and smooth, curved forms characteristic of that architectural movement, which was popular for commercial buildings of the mid-twentieth century. Listed in a community heritage register, the building represents an important example of Victoria's cultural architecture from the postwar era.
