The Odeon Luxe Leicester Square, completed in 1937, stands as a flagship cinema in London's West End designed in the Art Deco and Streamline Moderne style. Occupying the centre of the eastern side of Leicester Square, the building features a striking black polished granite facade and a 120-foot-high tower displaying the cinema's name, outlined in blue neon after dark. Built as the flagship of Oscar Deutsch's Odeon Cinemas chain, the theatre has been continuously adapted to incorporate advances in cinema technology and became the first Dolby Cinema in the United Kingdom. The venue remains a prominent cultural landmark, hosting numerous European and world film premieres, including the annual Royal Film Performance.
