The City Hall of Terneuzen, completed in 1972, is a prominent example of brutalist architecture in the Netherlands. Designed by the architects Van den Broek and Bakema, with Jaap Bakema playing a key role, the building reflects the modernist principles that defined Dutch civic architecture of the early 1970s. Recognized as both a municipal monument and a Rijksmonument (national heritage monument), it stands as a significant architectural statement in this Dutch town.
