Situated on the corner of NW 20th Avenue and NW Hoyt Street in Northwest Portland, Oregon, the Dr. K. A. J. and Cora Mackenzie House is a three-story, approximately 7,100-square-foot residence designed in the Richardsonian Romanesque Revival style by the Portland architecture firm McCaw, Martin, and White. Originally commissioned in 1891 by Dr. Kenneth A. J. Mackenzie, a medical professional, and his wife Cora as their private home, the house remained their residence until Kenneth's death in 1920. It represents a prominent example of the Richardsonian Romanesque Revival style's influence on the West Coast. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996 and later became associated with the William Temple community.
