Completed in 2000 on Sheikh Zayed Road, the Emirates Towers complex in Dubai is a high-tech architectural landmark comprising two connected towers—the 56-story Emirates Office Tower and the 54-story Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel—both rising to 354.6 meters. Despite the office tower's greater height, the hotel contains more floors relative to its occupied space due to differing floor-height specifications. The two structures are linked by a two-story retail complex known as "The Boulevard" spanning 9,000 square meters and owned by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The hotel operates 400 rooms and houses 17 elevators serving the complex. Set within expansive grounds of over 570,000 square meters featuring gardens, lakes, and waterfalls, with parking for 1,500 vehicles, the towers have become iconic symbols of Dubai, once ranking as the city's tallest buildings and currently standing as the 11th tallest in Dubai and 51st globally.
