The Estates Theatre, located in Prague's Old Town, is a historic opera house completed in 1783 under the direction of architects Karel Pollak, Caspar Hermann Graf von Künigl, Josef Niklas, and Anton Haffenecker. Designated a national cultural monument of the Czech Republic, the theatre was incorporated into the National Theatre in 1948 and now serves as one of three venues—alongside the National Theatre and Kolowrat Theatre—where the institution's opera, ballet, and drama ensembles perform.
