Located in Iowa Falls, Iowa, the Estes Park Band Shell is a Mission Revival structure completed in 1931 as a community project. Designed by local native L.L. Klippel with landscaping by N.F. Guernsey of Sioux City, the building exemplifies Spanish Colonial Revival aesthetics with two bell towers flanking a proscenium arch, each featuring round arch balconies. Stucco walls support a tiled hip roof with bracketed eaves, while a cement basement provides rehearsal space. Since its completion, the band shell has served as a cultural and civic venue, hosting concerts, dances, rallies, and political events—notably welcoming presidential candidate Wendell Willkie in 1940. The structure was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.
