A brutalist school building designed by Sepp Weber and completed in 1970 in Potsdam, Germany, the Fachhochschulgebäude am Alten Markt housed a higher education institution on the historic Alter Markt square. The structure exemplified the stark, unadorned concrete aesthetic characteristic of brutalism. The building stood for twenty-seven years before its demolition in 1997.
