Faith Chapel, a historic chapel constructed in 1904 on Old Plantation Road in Jekyll Island, Georgia, exemplifies Shingle style architecture with its distinctive wood "A" frame and brick foundation. Originally serving as a non-denominational place of worship until 1942, the structure features shingled interior and exterior walls adorned with gargoyles modeled after those at Notre Dame Cathedral. When Georgia acquired Jekyll Island in 1947, Faith Chapel came under state ownership and was administered by the Jekyll Island State Park Authority, opening to the public in 1970. The chapel was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971 and remains accessible to visitors.
