The Fauti Mosque, also known as the Phuti Mosque, stands in ruins at Kumarpur in the Murshidabad-Jiaganj community development block of West Bengal's Lalbag subdivision. Built in 1740 by Nawab Sarfaraz Khan, it was once among the largest mosques in the town, exemplifying Islamic architecture of the era. Located approximately 1.2 kilometres from the Hazarduari Palace, the mosque grounds contain the Tomb of Nawab Sarfraz Khan at Naginabagh, which holds the status of a State Protected Monument. Today the structure remains in a deteriorated state, though it forms part of Murshidabad's significant cluster of historical sites.
