This historic church in Rumson, Monmouth County, New Jersey, was built in 1886 by the prominent architectural firm Carrère and Hastings, whose later commissions included the New York Public Library. Executed in the shingle style, the building showcases distinctive features including a hipped roof, octagonal tower, round-arched windows, and thousands of cedar fish-scale shingles. The interior is notable for its three authentic Tiffany windows. The church was designed by Thomas Hastings, son of Rev. Professor Thomas S. Hastings, who served as president of Union Theological Seminary and dedicated the new structure. The original church building, constructed in 1842, was subsequently repurposed as Bingham Hall. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.
