The Dardanelle Methodist Church at 100 North 2nd Street in Dardanelle, Arkansas, is a brick church building that exemplifies Prairie School architecture following a comprehensive 1917 renovation. Originally constructed in 1891 as a 1½-story structure, the building represents the evolution of a Methodist congregation founded in 1848, which initially worshipped in a schoolhouse before erecting its first sanctuary in 1858. The extensive alterations undertaken in the early twentieth century transformed the edifice into its present Prairie School aesthetic. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996, the church building stands as a notable example of early twentieth-century architectural modernism adapted to religious purposes in the American South.
