Demolished or destroyed.
A Mudéjar-style female monastery that stood in Zaragoza from 1588 until its demolition in 1970, the former monastery of Santa Lucía exemplified the architectural traditions of Islamic-influenced design that persisted in Spain long after the Reconquista. Built in the late sixteenth century, the complex was destroyed nearly four centuries later, leaving behind only historical records of its distinctive style.
