The Forthmann House, now known as USC Community House, is a 4,200-square-foot Victorian residence built around 1887 in Los Angeles by architect Burgess J. Reeve in the Renaissance Revival style. Originally located at 629 W. 18th Street, the house was relocated in November 1988 to 2801 S. Hoover Street in the North University Park Historic District of West Adams. Its accompanying Carriage House was moved to Angelino Heights at 812 E Edgeware Road. Designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in 1972, the house stands as a well-preserved example of late 19th-century residential architecture in the city.
