USC Tower, a 32-story International Style skyscraper in Los Angeles's South Park neighborhood, was completed in 1965 as the headquarters and computer center for the Occidental Life Insurance Company. Designed by William Pereira & Associates, the 138-meter (453-foot) tower was the second-tallest building in Los Angeles upon completion, surpassed only by City Hall. The building has since been known by several names, including AT&T Center, SBC Tower, and Transamerica Building, before adopting its current designation.
