The Ghibli Museum, built in 2001 in Inokashira Park in Mitaka, a western city in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area, showcases the work of the renowned Japanese animation studio Studio Ghibli. Designed by Nihon Sekkei, the modest 11.98-meter-tall structure combines features of a children's museum, technology museum, and fine arts museum, dedicated to the art and technique of animation. Its attractions include a replica of the Catbus from *My Neighbor Totoro* (1988), a café, bookstore, rooftop garden, and an exclusive theater screening short films by Studio Ghibli.
