Gorodok Chekistov in Yekaterinburg is a constructivist housing estate completed in 1932 by architects Ivan Antonov and Veniamin Sokolov. Designed as a residential complex in the bold geometric style characteristic of Soviet modernism, the estate exemplifies the architectural principles of constructivism through its functional forms and emphasis on industrial aesthetics. Recognized as a federal cultural heritage site in Russia, Gorodok Chekistov remains an important example of early Soviet housing design.
