Guernsey State Park, located one mile northwest of Guernsey in Platte County, Wyoming, is a public recreation area surrounding the Guernsey Reservoir, an impoundment of the North Platte River. Built beginning in 1934, the park exemplifies National Park Service rustic architecture through structures designed and constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s. The park features campgrounds, boat ramps, and hiking trails, while its CCC-built facilities represent exceptional examples of Depression-era public works architecture. Now managed for the Bureau of Reclamation by the Wyoming Division of State Parks and Historic Sites, the park holds both National Register of Historic Places and National Historic Landmark designations.
