Built in 1937 in Greensboro, the Guilford County Office and Court Building is a two-story Art Moderne brick structure serving as both county offices and a North Carolina Superior Court courthouse. The building's distinctive design features a three-part composition with a stylized entrance framed by three unornamented pilasters that boldly extend above the roofline without capitals, exemplifying the geometric vocabulary of 1930s Modernism. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, it represents an important example of civic architecture from the Depression era.
