The H. E. Muchnic House in Atchison, Kansas, is a brick Victorian residence built in 1887–1888 for George W. Howell, a lumber dealer. It was acquired in 1922 by Harry E. Muchnic, founder of the Locomotive Finished Material Company, which later merged with Rockwell International. The house exemplifies the Queen Anne style characteristic of late nineteenth-century American residential architecture. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 12, 1974.
