Built in the late nineteenth century for W.H. Moore, owner of Hot Springs's Valley Planing Mill, this two-and-a-half story house at 906 Malvern Street blends Queen Anne and Colonial Revival styles. The wood-frame structure features the asymmetrical massing characteristic of Queen Anne design, including projecting gables, window bays, and a corner turret, all set on a brick foundation with weatherboard siding and hip roof. Its wraparound porch, however, displays distinctively Colonial Revival elements, notably heavier clustered posts supporting the roof structure. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
