The Half Moon at 10 Half Moon Lane in Herne Hill, London, is a Grade II* listed pub built in 1896 in the Jacobethan style. Constructed of brick, this cheerful corner establishment earned its place among only 270 pubs on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors. It attracted notable literary figures, including poet and writer Dylan Thomas, and became a significant live music venue for nearly fifty years, notably hosting U2 three times in 1980. In 2015, Southwark Council designated it an Asset of Community Value.
