The Halle Tony Garnier is a multipurpose arena and concert hall in Lyon's 7th arrondissement, originally designed by Tony Garnier in 1905 as a slaughterhouse. Constructed from blue stone of Vogüé, the building was comprehensively renovated in 1987 and reopened as a concert venue in 1988. With a standing capacity of nearly 17,000, it ranks as France's third largest venue after the Accor Arena and Paris La Défense Arena. Recognized as both a registered historical monument and twentieth-century heritage site, it will host figure skating and short track speed skating events during the 2030 Winter Olympics.
