Hotel Blessing is a historic hotel in Blessing, Texas, designed by Jules Leffland of Victoria and built in 1907 by Jonathan Edwards Pierce, the town's founder. The building exemplifies an unusual interpretation of Mission Revival architecture, distinguished by its entirely wooden façade rather than the adobe or plaster-over-brick typical of the style. Originally constructed to lodge land seekers and traveling salesmen, the hotel served as a community gathering place from its opening. After being refinished in the 1930s, it gained further prominence during World War II when soldiers' wives and girlfriends from nearby Camp Hulen frequented the establishment. Room rentals ceased in 1972, but in 1977, Pierce's grandson Able and his wife Ruth undertook a comprehensive renovation and reopened the hotel. Now operated by the Blessing Historical Society, the twenty-five-room hotel features a popular coffee shop where locals continue to gather. The building was recognized as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark and added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 1, 1979.
