Built in 1925 in Tampa, Florida, this Mediterranean Revival residence at 116 West Davis Boulevard was designed by architect Franklin O. Adams, Jr. The house was home to D.P. Davis (1885–1926), a prominent real estate developer instrumental in the Florida Land Boom of the 1920s, who created both Davis Islands in Tampa and Davis Shores in St. Augustine. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, the dwelling exemplifies the Mediterranean Revival architectural style that flourished during this era of Florida's rapid development.
