The Hus Congregational House, located on Dykova Street in Prague's Vinohrady district, is a Hussite church completed in 1935 by architect Pavel Janák. Designed in the constructivist style as part of a larger multi-functional development, the building is dominated by a striking six-storey minimalist tower that serves as both belfry and architectural landmark. Crowning the tower is a 700-kilogram copper chalice, a potent symbol of the Hussite faith. During the Prague uprising of 1945, the tower was repurposed as a broadcasting site for an alternative radio station, reflecting the building's symbolic importance to the city's resistance movement.
