Imamzadeh Qasem is a historic mausoleum tower located in Shemiranat County, Tehran, that reflects successive architectural traditions spanning the Ilkhanid, Safavid, and Qajar periods. Built primarily of brick and mortar, the structure showcases decorative elements characteristic of Persian funerary architecture, including tile work and marble detailing, along with aina-kari (mirror-work), a hallmark of interior embellishment in Iranian religious buildings. Designated as an Iranian National Heritage site, the imamzadeh represents a significant example of the tower-mausoleum typology dedicated to venerated descendants of the Prophet Muhammad.
