Jamaran Hussainiya in Tehran Province is the former mansion of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, located in Jamaran village. Built in Pahlavi and Qajar architectural styles, the structure sits adjacent to the Hussainiya mosque, connected by a metal platform. Khomeini occupied the residence from January 1980 onward, after medical advice regarding Tehran's climate proved beneficial for his heart condition. A flight of stairs linked the mansion directly to the mosque's balcony, from which Khomeini frequently addressed followers. Designated as an Iranian National Heritage property, the building remains an important site in modern Iranian history.
