The Jesuit Church in Vienna's Innere Stadt, also called the University Church, is a two-floor, double-tower baroque structure begun in 1627. The building was significantly remodeled by the acclaimed baroque architect Andrea Pozzo between 1703 and 1705, infusing it with early Baroque principles that define its present appearance. Situated on Dr. Ignaz Seipel-Platz, the church stands immediately adjacent to the historic buildings of the old University of Vienna, underscoring its role as both a religious and academic landmark in the city's central district.
