Jingci Temple is a prominent Buddhist temple situated at the foot of Huiri Peak on Nanping Hill, on the western shore of West Lake in Hangzhou. Recognized as a key national Buddhist temple in Han Chinese areas by the State Council in 1983, it ranks among the most significant religious structures in the region. Together with the nearby Lingyin Temple, it is celebrated as one of the jewels of the southern and northern hills flanking the UNESCO World Heritage Site of West Lake. The temple's main hall enshrines a statue of Sakyamuni Buddha and is complemented by surrounding gardens and pavilions, making it an important cultural and religious destination that draws visitors throughout the year.
