The John Evans Center is a Queen Anne and Tudor-style residence built in 1880 in Evanston, Illinois, designed by architect Edward Baumann. Originally constructed as a house, the building later became part of Northwestern University's campus, where it continues to serve as a university building. Its architectural character reflects the eclectic residential idiom popular in late-nineteenth-century America, combining elements of both Queen Anne elaboration and Tudor Revival forms.
